Event Info:
Help us make the 2017 Sweet Corn & Blues Festival a success! We’re looking for people to help vendors get situated in their booths, staff the Uptown Normal tent to make sure all guests have the best experience possible, and help us take care of all the little things that come up during an event. If you’ve ever been curious about how a major street festival comes together, this is a great peek behind the scenes, and we know we don’t have to tell you how popular this annual tradition is in our community. And there’s a good chance you’ll get some corn out of the deal as well.
Note: This is not a Children’s Discovery Museum Event. You are generously helping the Town of Normal and this annual tradition! THANK YOU!
Where to go when you arrive:
When you arrive for your shift you report to the Uptown Normal booth located in the roundabout. Your contacts will be Matt Trujillo and/or Adam Fox.
All Volunteers will receive a Town of Normal Shirt to wear during your shift.

6:30am-8:30am - Uptown Normal Staff Tent and Assist Vendors with Load In
8:30-10:30am - Uptown Normal Staff Tent and Assist Vendors
10:30-12:30pm - Uptown Normal Staff Tent and Assist Vendors
12:30-3:00pm - Uptown Normal Staff Tent and Assist Vendors
3:00-5:30pm - Uptown Normal Staff Tent and Assist Vendors

The mission of the CDM is to inspire the love of learning through the power of play.
