The Homeless Children's Playtime Project is holding our annual 5K race, which raises funds for more than 700 children, who live in temporary housing across Washington, D.C.
The Playtime Project provides weekly, transformative play programs, for children ages 6 months to 18 years, which reduce the effects of trauma, increase resiliency, and eliminate chronic family homelessness. Every penny raised will help fund programming-including field trips, healthy snacks, arts and crafts, and supplies-that directly benefits children and youth.
We will need volunteers to support logistics on the day of the race.
