- Skills Needed:
- Love and appreciation for older or disabled adults
- Patient, encouraging, and enthusiastic attitude
- Willingness to maintain confidentiality
- Respect for people of different backgrounds
- Basic knowledge of modern technology
- Duties:
- Volunteer will lead a session for residents, assisting the residents with their technical questions regarding their smart phones, tablets or computers.
- Report time spent on volunteer service to Community Outreach Coordinator
- Location of Duties:
- The Sharon at SouthPark
- Time Required:
- 1 - 1.5 hours per visit. Will work with your schedule. Prefer someone for Saturday mornings.

- Orientation and training provided by Community Outreach Coordinator

Description
The Sharon at SouthPark is a continuing care retirement community (or "CCRC") offering independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing care. It was founded in the late 1960’s by Presbyterian leaders in Charlotte. The not-for-profit community is home to 330 residents on a wooded, 28-acre campus on Sharon Road in the heart of SouthPark.
