ChickTech PDX is looking for someone to work alongside our current mentorship program manager!
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit new potential mentors with various professional backgrounds
- Oversee the application/vetting process for interested participants
- Schedule and coordinate training sessions for new mentors
- Match successful applicants with student cohort
- Coordinate meet & greet or other events as appropriate
- Perform regular check-ins with matched participants
- Act as resource for participants to assist with any issues that may arise
- Other duties as needed

ChickTech is dedicated to retaining women and non-binary people in the technology workforce and increasing the number of people of marginalized genders pursuing technology-based careers.
Description
ChickTech is a multi-generational community helping each other become technology creators. We facilitate hands-on technology-centric events and mentorship to empower, support, and increase the confidence of girls, women, and non-binary folks. Through our programs, we build community, empower participants to see themselves as leaders, and provide networking and mentoring opportunities in the rapidly growing tech industry.
As a mostly volunteer-run non-profit, we are always searching for partners who would like to get involved through donations of expertise, volunteer time, in-kind, funding, or just by helping to get the word out.
