Are you a current undergraduate student at a local university?
Are you interested in making a difference in your community?
Do you enjoy working with teenagers and young adults?
HOPE Mentoring is looking for undergraduate college students who are passionate about making a difference in young peoples’ lives, through mentoring juveniles at the Logansport Juvenile Correctional Facility.
Our aim is to lower recidivism rates and empower juveniles by giving them the skills they need to obtain employment and stay out of the correctional system. Mentoring is a proven method to reduce juvenile crime rates and reduce reoffending.
HOPE mentors will be trained to work with their mentee on resume building, interview skills, and professional or educational goals, beginning in the correctional facility and following them out into their communities upon release.
