Canon Learning Center #1 is an early learning center that serves a larger variety of high-need families, including low income and refugees. Research has shown that preschool is important to a child’s success all the way through adulthood, and Project Helping is partnering with preschools that serve low-income families around the Denver community. We have the opportunity to make a difference in the experience of preschoolers around Denver.

WHAT WILL WE BE DOING?

Project Helping volunteers are needed to assist with sprucing up the playgrounds at Canon Learning Center #1 to improve the outdoor play opportunities for the students. We’ll be raking, mowing, moving pea gravel, and a little painting and fence staining. All the tools and supplies will be provided, and we just need some amazing volunteers.

For this event, we ask that all volunteers be 16 or older.
