We here at Noah Homes are looking for a volunteer to come give piano lessons to some of our folks, Wednesdays at 3:30. It would be an adapted lesson with notes by numbers. We ask that you bring the appropriate sheet music. We need someone kind and patient with a love for teaching music. Some of our folks have a base knowledge of how to play and for others it will be a completely new experience! Thank you for considering Noah Homes for your volunteering! Since 1983, our mission as a nonprofit has been to provide exceptional residential services and opportunities to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This now includes advocacy and community partnership. Our goal is to maximize each individual’s independence in a community environment that fosters dignity and respect, as well as personal and spiritual growth.
Description
Noah Homes provides residential homes and services for adults with developmental disabilities. Promoting security and well being Noah exists to maximize independence by encouraging self-determination within a flourishing environment of dignity, respect, personal growth, and love. Today, there are nearly 90 men and women we like to call "the folks" celebrating life every day on these beautiful grounds.
