The Special Events Associate is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations and the successful planning and implementation of all activities pertaining to local marquee fundraising events and their related cultivation events.

The key responsibilities of Special Events Associate role include;

  • Provide logistic and administrative support
  • Tracking projects and developing reports
  • Manage event output, including recruitment and training/supervising volunteers the day of events
  • Manage event specific duties including RSVP tracking, award production and note taking at planning meetings
  • Establish communication workflow in collaboration with all stakeholders
  • 50% of time focused on Gala related projects and the remaining time on other local events we are hosting
