Our next homeless outreach is happening on September 4, 2017 from 7:00AM to 3:00PM. The mission will be at Pioneer Park prepared to provide 3,500 meals, clothing, basic necessities, and offering an opportunity to make a life change.
But what makes this outreach special is that we are having a "BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!" You see, the homeless don’t often celebrate birthdays. Most people have no idea how important the little things are for the homeless and poor - a simple birthday celebration, a time of friendship and caring... and prayer.
Volunteers are needed for Salt Lake City Mission's 24th Annual Labor Day Birthday Party For The Homeless - Celebrating Everyone Birthday! Food, Balloons, Prizes, and Fun for All Ages! By Faith Celebrating Their Recovery and Success.
