Volunteers will be the backbone of the 2017 World Rowing Championships, Sarasota-Bradenton, Florida USA. There are several volunteer categories from which to choose and several activities available in each group:

  • Volunteers (individual or groups)
  • Stake Boat Holders
  • Boat Drivers and Lifeguards
  • Captains/Ambassadors/Translators.
With 1,700 athletes from 60+ countries in attendance, nearly 2,000 volunteers will make this event a huge success. Training and orientation will be provided prior to the event to help volunteers prepare.

Sarasota County Parks, Recreation and Natural Areas is pleased to partner with the World Rowing Championship Volunteer and Staffing team in hosting this event and the recruitment of volunteers.
