Do you enjoy playing the game of chess? Do you understand how playing chess can benefit the development of children? Are you interested in sharing your knowledge of this game with youth in our community?

If you answered yes, than consider applying for the position of volunteer Chess Teacher at the Boys & Girls Clubs! Share your time with the youth in your community and help them reach their full potential.

Summary of Position and Duties:

  • Teach club members how to play the game of chess.
  • Coordinate chess tournaments.
  • Educate Club members about the benefits of playing chess.
  • Help Club members learn about good sportsmanship.
Day and Time: 1 day a week M-F between 4:30 - 6:00 p.m.

Do you have a passion for volunteering with kids? You can participate in homework help, art projects, computer literacy, recreation, and so much more!

Is your talent in planning special events? Participate in the Legacy of HOPE, Treasure Hunters, Don and Helen Murphy Memorial Golf Tournament, Dining with the stars Celebrity Chef Gala or a variety of other events.
