Join us at SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve's beautiful woodland office and help us conserve Washington's wild spaces. Learn more about nonprofit management, meet SHADOW’s volunteer team, and help us take our online presence to the next level!

Learn marketable skills and use industry standard programs! Develop your knowledge of Salesforce, Facebook business, Wordpress, and the Microsoft suite in a fun and rewarding work environment. SHADOW can provide you with access to a laptop and all necessary training, no previous experience needed.

SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve is a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring the sustainability of Shadow Lake Bog and other unique habitats within Jenkins Creek Basin through environmental education, preservation, and restoration.

Description

SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve is dedicated to protecting wetland habitat in South King County through education, preservation, and restoration. To date, SHADOW has placed nearly 100 acres of wetland habitat under permanent protection, providing critical wildlife habitat and passage in a landscape rapidly losing its functioning wetlands and green spaces. The true gem of SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve is our very own SHADOW Lake Bog and half-mile boardwalk trail leading into the heart of it!
