VOLUNTEER POSITION: Evening Front Desk Reception
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Reports to the Office Manager
Responsible for providing reception services for the front desk at weSPARK Cancer Support Center.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answer phone calls, take messages and answer guest questions.
- Sign in guests attending support groups or appointments.
- Tidy up rooms at the end of the night, lock up the building.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- At least one year of non-profit or office management experience.
- Has good judgment and is able to professionally and resourcefully handle potentially high stress situations.
- Deals patiently and professionally with all staff, facilitators, instructors, guests and volunteers.

The disease must be combated physically, but also psychologically and emotionally. weSPARK provides a variety of programs and opportunities for social exchange to all people at no cost, regardless of income, race, religious affiliation, age or where they go for treatment.
