ORGANIZATION: ChickTech

  • 3 people are interested

ChickTech Chicago is looking for a Workshop lead for our High School program kickoff, currently scheduled for November 18-19th, 2017. Interested in empowering high-school aged girls interested in STEM careers? Then this opportunity is for you: You'll work with the high school program volunteer coordinator to create ideas and a workflow around workshop and activities at our high school kickoff. You'll make sure that each workshop lead is meeting the requirements, keeping deadlines, and has the volunteers they need to succeed! You'll also communicate with the Volunteer Coordinator to replace volunteers who are not following through on their responsibilities or are creating other problems.

We're looking for someone who can commit at least through the end of November 2017, though you can definitely stay on afterwards and help with other ChickTech high school or women in tech-focused programs. If this sounds like you, please reach out to us! You'll have the opportunity to directly make a difference in the lives of Chicago high school girls interested in STEM careers. Help us empower the next generation of WIT!
