Have an hour a week or two hours a month to give back to older adults in your community? EAC Network manages senior centers in Long Beach, North Merrick, Hempstead and Port Washington NY, and is looking for anyone with a special interest or talent who can share that passion with our participants. Maybe you can teach photography, or drawing, or yoga. Maybe you can lead a discussion group or teach us a new game. Please contact us and we can help you find the perfect match.

Mission Statement
- EAC’s Senior Health Promotion program was developed to support the outreach of the Nassau County Office for the Aging , serving the County's 257,000 residents age 60 and over. Currently, EAC oversees 69 ongoing health and wellness classes, plus a number of educational events.
Description
- By promoting strength, endurance, flexibility, balance and emotional wellness, EAC's Senior Health Promotion programs contribute to increased independence and vitality as well as the decreased likelihood of disabling injury. Participants completing Six Weeks to a Healthier You have been shown to reduce the number of visits to physicians and Emergency Rooms, the number of days in the hospital and the number of hospitalizations.
