Are you computer savvy, or familiar with Python or another coding language? Volunteer to help teach Computer Programming to at-risk and low-income high school students in Venice.
Neighborhood Youth Association is a non-profit after-school program. As part of the Youth Leadership program, high school students take elective classes (alongside tutoring, leadership development and internships). We are offering Computer Programming to 5-10 high school students in Venice this year. Skills we are looking for include Python, Wordpress, Adobe, or any other coding language!
Class will take place once a week in the afternoon. You will be part of a team of instructors and can help design curriculum, or just teach and support the students.

Description
NYA offers services that are long term and concentrated, adapted to meet the individual needs of each child and are measured against tangible goals. We have locations in Venice, Mar Vista (West LA), Downtown LA, Mid-City, and South LA/Harbor Gateway.
