We're looking for volunteers who are web savvy enough to find the organizations and resources we need. We are a support and research organization. What we do is find the resources we need to help whichever client we're now working with.
Building a database, we have plenty, but we will establish a form to complete for each organization so, your job would be to answer the questions, such as:
- What services do you offer?
- Who do you serve? (criteria that must be met to receive services)
- How do you help? (Their process, i.e. do they have progressive services?)
- Do they have a wait list? If so, what's the typical turnaround rate.
You get the point.
I have some clients that are looking for services. I can give you their criteria and you can help me find the services they need. (i.e. a single mom on public aid needs some respite help with her special needs son. I know there are agencies out there that can help her, we just have to find them.)
Looking forward to watching our database grow so we can help more people.
We are people helping people. Changing the world by changing lives.
