Chicago HOPES for Kids empowers homeless students to succeed academically. After school mentors spend two hours a week supporting an in-shelter program that is enriching and fun for students k-5th grade. Volunteers work with to 3 children at a time on a curriculum that includes time to do homework, literacy and enrichment activities.
