Chicago HOPES for Kids empowers homeless students to succeed academically. After School mentors spend two hours a week supporting an in-shelter program that is enriching and fun for students K-5th grade. Volunteers work with 1 to 3 children at a time on a curriculum that includes time t do homework, literacy, and enrichment activities.
