Hops for Hunger is a new craft beer and food truck event happening this fall in Windsor, Colorado! We will be featuring local favorites in both food and drink and live music.
Volunteers will be needed for this event to help set up for the event as well as to serve beer of our many beer tents. Volunteers must be over the age of 21. Multiple shifts available:
- General Set Up from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Setting up fencing, booths, signs, etc.
- Beer Set Up from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Helping to set up beer tents, kegs, cups, etc.
- Check-in and Serving from 4:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. ( A short training is required)
- Checking ID’s at the gate.
- Providing wristbands and answering questions for attendees.
- Serving beer to attendees.
- General Set Up from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Volunteers will be needed in different capacities such as set up, check-in and as beer servers. Volunteers will receive a complimentary shirt, a meal from any of the participating food trucks and 4 4 oz beer tasters.

Description
Weld Food Bank is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization which alleviates hunger and poverty by providing food and services to people in need. We are a private non-profit organization and are not a part of county government.
We work to educate the public about the nature of hunger and poverty. We recognize the need for emergency and supplemental food programs and of other non-profit organizations that meet the critical needs of low-income families. When we provide our services we strive to do so with compassion and respect for the dignity of the people seeking food assistance. Last year we provided over 11.9 million pounds of food to the hungry in Weld County.
Weld Food Bank is also a part of Feeding America which is the largest charitable hunger-relief organization in the country addressing the problem of domestic hunger by providing 4 billion meals to 46 million people each year. This accomplishment is due to their nationwide network of 200 food banks and 60,000 food pantries and meal programs. Feeding America serves all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
