The Dash KCK 5k is back at Big 11 Lake on August 9th! the Dash KCK is anot for profit race offere ot engage the community in a health promoting outdoor activity. The race starts 8:30 AM rain or shine and the award ceremony will follow immediately after the race at 10:00AM.
Volunteers are need starting at 7:00AM to help set up for the race, hand out runner race packets, direct runner on the race course, and help with cleanup after the event. Volunteers will check in at the volunteer check-in table with Danny right outside the JFK community center. Here they will receive their t-shirt and volunteer assignment.
Volunteers are also invited to stay after the race! Free food and ice cream, interactive activities, music and much more will be directly across the street at the Library in the Park event. This wonderful community event lasts from 10:00am- 2:00pm.
