The foundation for a prosperous economy is a skilled and well prepared workforce. Today's students will be the members of this workforce in the future. As volunteer in the FWISD College Night, you will help make possible for students to continue in their path toward a successful career and contributing members of our economy as this event brings high school students from all over the city to visit with over 250 college representatives to discuss post-secondary studies plans. In addition, workshops are provided for students and parents on financial aid, scholarships and admissions.
Potential assignments for volunteers are: greeter, workshop assistant, crowd facilitator, bus drop-off or pick-up assistant.
