ORGANIZATION: Brazosport Planetarium

The Brazosport Planetarium is looking for volunteers interested in helping run STEM demonstrations at our public shows and school star gazes. Shows are held on Tuesday nights 7-8 PM throughout the year and school Star Gazes are held various Friday nights during the school year at local Elementary and Intermediate schools. Our demonstrations are provided in partnership with NASA’s Night Sky Network. You do not have to be an astronomer to participate!

Description

Through our partnership with the Brazosport Independent School District, we provide for credit high school Astronomy class and math and science presentations to 3 grade students.

In addition, we provide public shows most Tuesdays on a number of Astronomy-related topics.
