ORGANIZATION: Bon Secours Hospice and Palliative Care

  • 10 people are interested

We are the oldest nonprofit hospice program in Richmond. We need volunteers to visit with patients in facilities and at home. It is a special experience to work with people at the end of life. We give you training, orientation and ongoing education. The commitment is usually 1 to 3 hours per week. We keep you close to home or work. It is excellent experience for anyone thinking of joining the healthcare field. We have special programs including We Honor Veterans, Pet Peace of Mind and musicians to play for patients.
