Our website is the backbone of our organization. It runs Wordpress, and is integrated into some custom services that run our time-tracking systems and real-life permissions to access doors, tools, etc. It runs our store, which processes our membership fees, and lets people book training and mentoring sessions.

We are seeking a couple of individuals who are interested in heading the project on a long-term basis. Your job would include having an understanding of the overall website, and managing a team. It would include ensuring that Wordpress updates are run (and don't break everything); having an overall plan for new development and integration of them; working with new team members to put them on the right track and ensure they have tasks.

You will receive support, especially as you get your feet under you. While there is a learning curve to it, ultimately it does not have an extremely high time commitment. It expects you to be organized and a leader, with experience with Wordpress and independent development. We communicate with our team over Facebook for Work, and via an IRC chat room set up specifically for it.
