The 2018 hurricane season has been extraordinarily active in parts of the U.S., with Hurricane Florence currently impacting millions in the Carolinas. Bainbridge Island Museum of Art (BIMA) is a a cultural gem with three rotating exhibition cycles a year. Each exhibition showcases premier collections of art and craft from the Puget Sound region. BIMA has become a thriving landmark; welcoming emerging artist, community partners, out of town visitors and members of the Bainbridge Island community and beyond.
As BIMA continues to expand, we are seeking additional administrative volunteers who have an aptitude for computer-based tasks; including online research, data entry, and excel. Project examples include: grant research, updating online calendars, excel data sorts, mailings. Volunteers would primarily work with the Development and Executive departments in our administrative office.
