Genuine Academy, Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit created to aid in the academic development of at-risk youth in under-served communities. Our three areas of focus are academic enrichment, social engagement, and community development. After operating as a youth mentor program for the past 2 years, we've decided to expand into a full-time high school for the 2019-20 school year. Currently, our brother school, Ash Academy is 6-8 and we'll be 9-12.
We utilize a state approved online curriculum that allows students to have interactive learning in school and at home. Our focus is STEM. To effective serve our students during this time of expansion, we'll need 3, part-time teachers to assist us, throughout the week. Also, we're launching an after school program in January to create an extended school day for students in need of tutoring.

Mission Statement
The mission of Genuine Academy, Inc. is to use an innovative curriculum and progressive teaching techniques to change the lives of the under-served youth in at-risk communities across the state of Georgia. By tailoring the curriculum to fit the student’s specific needs, we'll provide a platform for them to explore their creativity and develop a sense of purpose.
Description
Genuine Academy, Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit created to aid in the academic development of at-risk youth in under-served communities. After operating as a youth mentor program for the past 2 years, we've expanded into a full-time high school for the 2019-2020 school year. Our three areas of focus are academic enrichment, social engagement, and community development.
We have partnered with Ash Academy, located in Conyers, GA, which currently provides schooling to children in grades 6th - 8th. Genuine Academy will further the students education beyond middle school for grades 9th- 12th.
Along with our unique STEM program, we utilize a customized curriculum along with progressive teaching techniques. Our goal is to teach students the importance of character development, financial literacy, communication and entrepreneurship. In addition, the eye-catching uniform of our team members contain acronym-based slogans that are used to promote student attendance and academic achievement.
​Throughout the year, we host several events to raise awareness and provide students at our school hands-on experience in serving the community. Doing so creates an opportunity to forge amazing partnerships with other organizations and leave a lasting impact on the individuals we help.
