ORGANIZATION: Burlingame Public Library - Burlingame Main Library

  • 7 people are interested

We are starting an "Hour of Code" type club for kids in grades 5-8 in November, 2017. They will be following along with the online curriculum already available, but in a group setting. We need volunteers versed in different coding languages to act as stand-by mentors for any questions/issues that may come up.

The group will meet once a month on the 2nd Saturday of the month, for an hour and a half each time. The time will be 1:30-3:00pm.

Volunteers should be excited to help tweens/teens (grades 5-8) learn about coding and develop their skills. No teaching experience required, but a basic understanding of adolescent brain development helps!
This is at the Burlingame Public Library, Burlingame, California.
