You're the first smile our concert-goers see!
You MUST be 21 years of age or older to volunteer in this spot.
Your volunteer position includes 1 meal voucher (up to $8, not valid for alcoholic purchases) for the evening of your shift.
Your job is to:
* Stay at the gates (3 separate gates, 2 volunteers at each gate) and greet everyone.
* Ensure that no alcohol enters or exits the venue by watching for hand-carried beverage containers that contain alcohol, opening and checking coolers, and giving verbal instructions to guests as needed.
* Help enforce alcoholic sales and consumption cutoff times.
* Keep a general eye on the event/patrons for over intoxication, etc.
* Please prepare to stay until at least 15 minutes after the band stops playing.

Young Professionals of Yamhill Valley has a simple message: You can never know too many people and the more contacts and relationships you can form, the more success you will gain. There is little structure in this group and its objective is to organize the time and place to meet and then allow for people to come and go in a relaxed, comfortable setting. We talk biz, valley, networking, job opportunities and more.
With funds raised, we aim to give back to the community and enrich the lives of the young (and old) professionals that live here in the Valley.
