Intake volunteers work directly with our clients who come to our office for assistance. These volunteers are responsible for listening to clients to figure out what the client's needs are, filling out an intake and budget sheet with the client, offering referrals to other agencies when needed, offering financial assistance through Partners in Hope when necessary, calling in any pledges for financial assistance, and other tasks as needed. These volunteers are an integral part of our team. If you enjoy working with people and helping make positive change in your community, this volunteer opportunity might be right for you!

Description
Since 1990 Partners in Hope, inc. has been serving the communities of Troy and Casstown, providing a "Path of Hope" through three areas of service. These areas are relief (meeting immediate needs), education (providing tools and resources that broaden knowledge and inspire change), and development (supporting the journey from crisis based living to a secure and stable lifestyle). In all our programs, we strive to create relationships and partnerships that empower individuals and families to gain self-sustainability.
