Bo's Place Volunteer Facilitators are at the heart of what we do. Under the direction of Bo's Place clinicians, these volunteers lead grief suport groups for children, families and adults. Prospective Volunteer Facilitators attend a tour and interview followed by a 28 hour training on September 14-15, 2019. They must commit to a minimum of one year service and be least 22 years of age. Both English and bilingual (English/Spanish)are needed. There are volunteer opportunities at our main location and in Katy.

Mission Statement
Bo's Place mission is to enhance the lives of those who have experienced the death of a loved one. Bo’s Place is a non-profit, free-of-charge bereavement center offering multiple grief support services for children, families, and adults in their grief journey, and provides education and resources for those who assist people in grief. Bo’s Place was founded and operates on the belief that it is helpful and healing for grieving children and adults to share their stories, memories, experiences, thoughts, and feelings with other grieving children and adults. Bo’s Place offers the only free on-going grief support program in the greater Houston area for children and their families.
Description
Bo's Place is seeking empathetic volunteers for training. Volunteer opportunities are available at our main location in and Katy. We are also seeking bilingual volunteers for both locations.
