Break the World Record in CPR Classes at Camping World Stadium

The Central Florida Disaster Medical Coalition, along with WKMG-TV (Channel 6), American Heart Association, City of Orlando, Florida Department of Health in Orange County, Florida Hospital and other agencies, have partnered to work towards attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the Largest CPR Training Session. We are inspiring Central Floridians to save lives through a dynamic message of hope. More than 326,000 people in the US suffer out-of-hospital cardiac arrests each year. Statistics prove that if more people knew CPR, more lives could be saved. Attempting to break the Guinness World Record will amplify awareness and the importance of knowing how to administer CPR.

To break the record, we need your help. The Planning Team is asking the community partners to participate in the attempt and help raise awareness by spreading the word. We currently are in need of 350 volunteers to act as stewards. As a steward you will be responsible for:

1. Counting and watching a group of no more than 50 people to ensure they participate and stay inside the designated area.
2. Disqualifying those who do not fully participate or who leave the designated area in the final tally.
3. Filling out a brief form to be submitted to Guinness World Record to verify the numbers are accurate.
