As representatives of the Fair, Hospitality Volunteers serve as hosts to the hundreds of
vendors/exhibitors. They serve drinks and refreshments and maintain the two Vendor Break
Place Rooms. This is a good position for friendly folks with good customer service skills.
Requirements:
* Friendly, helpful, courteous, polite, and hospitable
* Ability to work as a team to prepare coffee, iced drinks and snacks quickly and in large
numbers
* Light Cleaning, vacuuming, and washing utensils
* May require lifting bags of ice & standing for extended periods
* This position is indoors.

Oklahoma State Fair, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation that serves the people of Oklahoma and is dedicated to continuing the organization's heritage of education, entertainment and economic development through the operation of State Fair Park and the annual Oklahoma State Fair.
Description
The Oklahoma State Fair is Oklahoma's premier family event. For over 100 years, the Fair has been Oklahoma's top education, entertainment and competition event with thousands of visitors attending each day.
The Oklahoma State Fair is rich in history and heritage. Part of that heritage is the Oklahoma State Fair Volunteer Program. Volunteers are critical for the successful operation of the Fair each year. Their faithful service is the backbone of the Fair.
Volunteer opportunities are available for everyone's special skills and preferences. OSF volunteers provide support during the Fair in September and during the move-in days immediately prior to the Fair. Each volunteer shift ranges from 3 to 5 hours depending on the duties and assignments. Volunteers also meet quarterly during the year for social activities, educational opportunities and special training. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age or be assigned to work with a parent or guardian.
