Join us for our biggest JA in a Day yet! Three local high schools, Putnam, Commerce, and Central, have a "JA in a Day" on the Wednesday after Columbus Day every year and YOU can be part of it. With the help of our volunteers, we serve over 1,200 students in just one day! Volunteers will lead JA's "Economics for Success" program, which shows students how to earn money, spend wisely within a budget, save and invest, use credit cautiously, and protect their personal finances through fun, hands-on activities. The classroom teacher will remain in the classroom to assist you. All volunteers will be trained by JA staff prior to volunteering and are encouraged to bring a friend to see what were all about. Sign up today! E-mail Meg with any questions at mbeliveau@jawm.org or call (413) 747-7670.
