We are looking for folks interested in restoring and maintaining Shoreview Park. The work parties are run by a small group of Native Plant Stewards from the Washington Native Plant Society dedicated to the park. The task for this work party will be removing invasive species (mainly english ivy).

We are welcoming to those interested in habitat restoration, working with the community, and giving back to city parks! The terrain is steep in areas, so please be aware if you have mobility issues this park may be more challenging. A community dog park is adjacent to the park, and the trails are frequented with dogs and their owners. Volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a guardian.

Please bring water and a snack for yourself. Wear work pants or pants you don’t mind getting a bit dirty, closed toed shoes or boots, and a work shirt (shirt you wouldn’t mind getting a bit dirty).
