Teams of students in grades K-12 present their STEM+Arts solutions at a tournament. Each team has worked 2-4 months crafting their solutions. They bring those solutions to tournament to be assessed by teams of appraisers, and that's where you come in!
We need approximately 60 Tournament Appraisers. Training will be Saturday, March 14. Tournament is Saturday, March 28. Both events will be held at Northern Cass School, rural Hunter, ND (within minutes of the Fargo metro area). Since students put in a great deal of work preparing for tournament, we require our Appraisers be equally prepared by attending training. Training on March 14 is will review Destination Imagination basics, how to understand the Challenges, and how to score solutions. Appraisal teams will meet to break down their Challenge and assign tournament day roles. Tournament day runs from morning to late afternoon. We feed you and even supply you an Official shirt for tournament day.
Spend some time immersed in the celebration of teams and you provide feedback and encouragement for their creativity and innovative Challenge solutions!
