Looking for someone who has a passion for helping others to heal and grow to serve on the Board of Directors for a non-profit counseling center (Fresh Aire Samaritan Counseling Center) as an active member. The Center provides spiritually integrated behavioral health counseling, consulting and education that integrates mind-body-spirit-community for the Great Lakes Bay Region. Qualities that would be especially useful include: 1) some experience working with non-profits; 2) good interpersonal skills; 3) dependability; 4) experience and/or interest in fundraising; 5) experience and/or interest in being actively involved in organizational development; 6) any of the following vocational skills: marketing, infomation technology, finance, website development, law, mental health, business.

Description
Fresh Aire Samaritan Counseling Center is a non-profit counseling center that seeks to integrate body, mind, spirit healing. Counselors are licensed in the state of Michigan as professional counselors, social workers, and psychologists. However, they are also trained to integrate the counseling with the individual's faith, meeting the client where he/she is.
The counseling center is still earlyin its development having been in opperation for only five years and has a small staff of four counselors and a general office manager.
