Do you enjoy meeting new people, good conversation and learning about different cultures? We're looking for a few volunteers to help keep the conversation going during our weekly ESL Conversation Group.
This is a fun, informal program where English as a Second Language learners practice conversation in a virtual Zoom room. Talking points are provided if needed, but it's really just about keeping the conversation going and making sure everyone participates and has fun.
Please note: this is a weekly morning program with expected participation time running between 10:45am and 12:15pm on Wednesdays. Use of an internet device with a camera and microphone (computer, tablet, etc.) and comfort with using Zoom is required. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age or older.
**This program was shifted to Zoom during the pandemic, but is expected to return to in-person later in the summer. Volunteers should be comfortable with in-person volunteering at the Mitchell Park Library branch.**
