Ossining Loves to Read Initiative
Over the summer we are creating many events and programs to support and encourage reading.
We would love to create Ossining Loves to Read Bags to help continue this message throughout the school year.
Volunteers will work together to sort donated books. Then the books will be used to create books bags that children have access to on a bi weekly bases. The volunteers will help create the bags. Book baggies will be created based on reading levels, interest and/or topics. Our goal is to give all children access to books! Volunteers must be 15 years old or 13 with an adult to participate in this event.
