Bridging the Gap

Who loves recycling, voting and music?! Bridging The Gap is proud to partner with Northland Progress’ In for Ten Voting Rights Festival. Volunteers will help us reach our goal of making this a zero waste-to-landfill festival! Recycling Attendants will help us manage recycling and compost at the event by directing patrons where to deposit their waste (recycle/compost). We will train you and will provide gloves and litter grabbers.

Perks: event t-shirt and a voucher for one meal and a drink.

First shift:

12:00 pm - 5:30 pm Sign up here: https://www.tfaforms.com/4631084

All volunteers must be at least 21, and register online in advance. Immediately after registering, volunteers will receive an auto-email with more information.

This is a great opportunity for a small group - due to the limited slots, contact us first if you have a group so we can ensure we have space for all members to sign up. Questions: contact John Fish at 816-944-2383 or email john.fish@bridgingthegap. org.

We apologize, we are not able to sign off on court-appointed or disciplinary community service requirements.

Description

Bridging The Gap (BTG) educates citizens, businesses and governments about the impact their decisions have on our environment. We help them follow through with direct action to make our world, region and community green, healthy and sustainable.

BTG does this by working to create awareness of our environment and the need to make our communities sustainable at every level and in all life activities -- in homes, workplaces, schools and neighborhoods. In all of our work, we seek to create partnerships among governments, businesses, community leaders and individuals to improve our community by making it healthy and sustainable for our future.
