The Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board (CSB) is seeking a volunteer to assist with the PATH's (Project to Assist in Transition from Homelessness) Drop In program. Help set up tables/room and put food out; distribute towels, toiletries, snacks, and clean clothes; assist with monitoring the laundry sign up; help organize and inventory supplies and donations; pick up groceries at local grocery store; assist with clean up; and greet and interact with individuals . 8-10 hours a week - Tuesdays from 11:30am - 4:30pm and Fridays from 8am - 12:30pm.

The Fairfax-Falls Church CSB’s mission is to provide and coordinate a system of community-based supports for individuals and families of Fairfax County and the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church who are affected by developmental delay, intellectual disability, serious emotional disturbance (youth), mental illness and/or substance use disorders. Description

When you join our volunteer team, you will receive training, supervision, diverse educational experiences, and opportunities for personal growth. Various positions are available throughout Fairfax County and the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church. The times and days available are flexible and include some evening and weekend opportunities, as well as regular weekday hours. By providing direct service, administrative support, or participating in special projects, volunteers are valuable members of our team.
