Bergen Passaic Heart Walk

Please join us for the Bergen County/Passaic County Heart Walk on Sunday, October 1st!

This event is organized to raise money and awareness towards eliminating cardiovascular diseases and stroke. There will be between 1,000 and 2,000 walkers, and it is our goal to make this an enjoyable, well organized event for all those that attend. Our volunteers are the key to accomplishing this goal. The support we receive from the community is greatly appreciated as these events would not be successful without you! There are volunteer opportunities for people of all ages, including:

Set up: We have many stations that need to be set up, such as, water and snacks, survivor area, registration, t-shirt contest, etc.

Working Tables: Each table will need a volunteer or two to help hand things out or provide information to participants.

Water Stations: We will have two water stations throughout the course for walkers to stop and hydrate. Volunteers will be at each station, handing out water and cheering on our walkers.

Kids Zone: Face painting, pumpkin decorating, and other activities for the kids in attendance.

Breakdown: At the end of the walk we will need help cleaning up and putting everything into the truck.
