Join NYC Votes, Dominicanos USA and other community partners for our Day of Action in Sunset Park. This initiative seeks to increase immigrant voter engagement. In New York City 1.7 million citizens -one out of four - are naturalized. Neighborhoods with large immigrant populations have lower rates of voter participation. NYC Votes and partners will register residents of Sunset Park to vote and share a nonpartisan voting message with the community.
There will be a training dates for volunteers on Monday, March 9th at 6 pm. The training will take place at 100 Church Street, 12th floor in Manhattan. Volunteers are expected to attend one these trainings.

About NYC Votes The CFB’s NYC Votes campaign promotes civic engagement through community outreach, voter registration and engagement programs, and educational resources. NYC Votes is the voter outreach and engagement campaign of the Campaign Finance Board, conducted under the guidance of its Voter Assistance Advisory Committee (VAAC).
Description
With the help of community partners and city agencies, the CFB NYC Votes brings voter registration events and civic engagement programs to all five boroughs, with a particular focus on historically disenfranchised communities, as mandated in the City Charter.
