ORGANIZATION: Riverside County Library System - Home Gardens Library

The Home Gardens Library is looking for a weekly volunteer to come in once a week for 2 hours at a time. We would like the volunteer to fill out a volunteer application at the front desk. After they fill out an application, they will be contacted at a later date to schedule a volunteer interview and orientation. At the orientation we will schedule the volunteer for the most convenient week day and time.

Tasks include: Shelving, wiping books, assisting in library programs, and other library upkeep.

Hours available to volunteer (2 hours/week*) :
Mondays & Tuesdays 12:30-7:30, Wednesday & Thursday 10:30-5:30 and Fridays 10:30-4:30.

Public libraries in California seek to engage the talents, skills and commitment of volunteers to serve the communities' information and literacy needs. Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.
