Position Overview:
Are you excited about technology? Do you have a passion for helping others? This is an opportunity to assist adults in improving their basic computer skills while also encouraging them to develop a broader comfort with technology. Foresthill Library offers drop-in technology assistance on Thursdays from 1-2 pm and the first Tuesday of every month from 5-6 pm.
Qualifications:
- Must have a strong knowledge of basic technology and computer skills including Microsoft Office, Email basics, Internet basics, and Google applications (Gmail, Google Drive)
- Must possess patience, flexibility, dependability, and excellent oral communication skills
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently and clearly
- Livescan clearance is required and provided free of charge
- Age 18 or older
- One-on-one training session on computer class protocols
- Individual assistance from staff
