Preferred Hospice is in need of Volunteers to join our family. We offer many opportunities to volunteer. Our Direct Patient Volunteers provide companionship, emotional support, and comfort. Volunteers visit with our patients, read to them, play games, and provide an empathetic ear. They may also provide respite and assistance to caregivers by doing yard work or light housekeeping. Our Office and Administrative Volunteers assist with duties including data input and mail outs.
Preferred Hospice serves patients within an our radius of our office. This gives many opportunities and locations to give your time. Springfield, Aurora, Crane, Branson, Forsyth, Hartville, Strafford, to name a few!
Preferred Hospice provides education, training, and mileage reimbursement for all volunteers. Preferred Hospice Volunteers are essential to our team and are a part of our family! Please join us!

Description
Preferred Hospice is a Missouri-based company comprised of a multidisciplinary team of Healthcare workers who specialize in end-of-life care. Among the senior team are Physician and Nurses who together bring over 50 years of Healthcare experience. We serve patients within an hour radius of our home office in Ozark Missouri.
Volunteers are essential to the Preferred Hospice Team. Direct Patient Volunteers provide companionship to patients while offering emotional support and comfort. Direct Patient Volunteers may also provide respite and assistance to patient caregivers. Office and Administrative Volunteers assist the office staff with many things from mail outs to data entry. Training, education, and mileage reimbursement is provided.
