Crossroads Hospice

At Crossroads Hospice, experience has taught us that there are a few things most patients want while in our care- they want to be remembered, to pass down their life experiences and beliefs and to know their life mattered-As a way to help patients fulfill these desires, Crossroads Hospice helps patients create a Life Journal to pass on their love, experience, and advice. We help them document their blessings and gratitude for those they care about most. A patient may recount stories of childhood, describe military experiences, or reminisce about a favorite pet or their first car. Our volunteer will partner with family members and the patient to gather photographs of the patient's life. Photos and stories are combined to create a beautiful hardback book, a Life Journal, for the family to cherish for years to come. The Life Journal is a complimentary offering from Crossroads Hospice.

As a Crossroads Hospice volunteer you will be able to give this beautiful gift to a patient. The experience will be a blessing to both you and your patient.

Join an amazing team of Crossroads Hospice Volunteers- You will make a difference!

Training required and can be scheduled at your convenience. ( TB test, Flu vaccination, background checks are all required)

Mission Statement

Crossroads is committed to being at the forefront of the hospice care industry, to continually shape the way palliative care is viewed and administered so that everyone can expect more from us.

Description

Expect More From Us. We Do. Why not? That's a questions we ask ourselves every day. In fact it is the question responsible for our beginning and has made us what we are today. Because "why not?" helps us find new and better ways to deliver hospice care to patients, families, caregivers and health care professionals alike. It helps us connect with our communities, share our knowledge, be accessible 24/7, innovate, lead and raise the bar. In fact, "why not?" has helped us create a hospice experience we believe is second to none...and are confident you'll agreee.
