ORGANIZATION: National MS Society

The National MS Society is actively recruiting new volunteers to join our event committee for Bike MS: Valero Ride to the River presented by HEB, a fundraising, cycling event which raises over $1.3M per year. This South Texas ride offers cyclists a variety of one-day and two-day ride distances including a 161 mile option. The journey from San Antonio to New Braunfels includes celebrations at the overnight and finish line as well as fun-interactive themed rest stops along the route. Experience the beauty of South Texas and the Hill Country for a Bike MS experience like no other.

Your participation will drive MS research thereby delivering services to those who face the challenges of MS every day so they can live their best lives.

The South Central Region, headquartered in Houston, TX is made up of five states: Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Texas, and New Mexico.

Seeking out and engaging volunteers to join the movement is at the very core of our organization.

We engage volunteers at every level. Join an event committee, volunteer at a walk or bike event, advocate at the capitol, volunteer at our office, no matter how you choose to contribute, you are doing something about MS now!

The Society is looking for passionate volunteers with expertise in areas such as: marketing communications, public relations, corporate and donor development, medical, legal, administrative and organizational expertise.

We are always looking for volunteers who want to share their time and talent to help stop MS!
