Homestead Hospice offers Nurturing Artist to bring therapy to our patients. You might enjoy singing, playing an instrument, doing visual arts, teaching painting, teaching crafts and so many more things our patients want to enjoy.

We ask that you be certified in your field like Pet Therapy must have an animal that is trained and certified to visit with patients. Most of our Musicians are certified as well. Sometimes you just have a gift and are not certified so let's discuss that further.

We pay $60 and hour and normally this is just a very part time job. Each event is for 1 hour in a community where we have patients or it could be 2 hours which is a Special event. If you are ask to play 3 hours or more the pay changes. Your Volunteer Manager will explain how that works. Normally you play only 1 hour in a community. You may or may not have more than one performance a week.
