Our nonprofit organization serves the Greensboro homeless community. We are co-sponsoring a tiny house with Guilford Technical Community College (GTCC) for the Tiny House Community Development, Inc. nonprofit organization. They are building the "first tiny house community in Greensboro, North Carolina", and the construction site is located at 4120 Causey Street.
Our portion to complete the tiny house is $20,000, and we are doing various fundraising projects to achieve our goal. Our first fundraiser is a Tiny House Car Wash, and it will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 9 am to 12 noon at ADVANCE AUTO PARTS. Advance Auto Parts is located at 3814 North Church Street (corner of North Church Street & Lee’s Chapel) in Greensboro, NC.
We need volunteers to help wash cars that day. If you can lend us a hand, please contact me, Patricia Daboh, at theremnantseekers@yahoo.com. Let me know your name and how long you can volunteer that day. I will add your name to the list of volunteers for this fundraising event and send you a confirmation reply. We look forward to hearing from you.
Help us place a house key in the hand of the Greensboro homeless.

Description
The Remnant Seekers, Inc. responded to the growing number of homeless in Greensboro, North Carolina--wanting to assist with meeting their needs and being an agent of change for a better way of life. Our organization was incorporated in March 2011, fed our first meal to the homeless in February 2012, and received our tax exempt status in August 2013.
In July 2018, we moved toward a more permanent way of helping the Greensboro homeless by becoming a co-sponsor, along with Guilford Technical Community College (GTCC), to build a tiny house through the Tiny House Community Development, Inc. nonprofit organization. The Tiny House Community Development, Inc. is building the first homeless tiny house community in Greensboro, NC, and the construction site is located at 4120 Causey Street.
